Hello Hydration-My new found <3

My hair has began a new love affair and kicked my beloved Assie Moist to the curb.   This past weekend I was walking up and down the aisles of Target in search of products and debating which ones I wanted to try.  After coloring my hair I wanted to be sure to take the proper precautions to keep it moisurized to minimize breakage.  I kept going back to the hello hydration.  I was hesitent about trying it because I have previously tried it and it didnt stick in my regimen. Nonetheless I purchased it and my hair ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!!  It felt moisturized, great slip, mimimal shedding (which shocked me because I steared away from my normal washing routine of washing my hair in sections.  This was only because I was away from home) I love the scent which isnt too overpowering (contains hawaiian coconut & orchid) and after styling my hair I had less frizz! MOST DEFINATELY ADDING THIS TO THE REGIMEN!!! The price doesnt make it bad either at $2.99 at target!!!!!!  Cant wait to try this as a wash and go….

Clarol- 7G Very Blonde

After months of deciding whether or not I wanted to color my hair chemically or to use henna…After researching I finally decided to go the chemical route…although henna has some awesome benefits such as strengthening, conditioning, and giving shine to your hair…Henna would not give me the vibrant color that I truly wanted! After making that decision I then had to find a color and brand that I was satisfied with.  I chose Clarol Textures & Tones 7G bright blonde which was about 5.00 at Walmart.  Although I really didn’t want a bright blonde they were out of Honey blonde and I was determined not to go to another store so I settled….

WHEN COLORING YOUR HAIR

-READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY

-DO A STRAND TEST!!! THIS IS A STEP THAT I USUALLY SKIP WHEN I WAS RELAXED BUT ITS BENEFICIAL BECAUSE IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO SEE WHAT COLOR YOUR HAIR WILL ACTUALLY COME OUT WITH OUT OVER PROCESSING.

-MAKE SURE YOU BASE YOUR EDGES (APPLYING GREASE OR VASELINE TO HAIRLINE, AND EARS) THIS PROTECTS YOUR EDGES FROM GETTING IRRITATED..

I love the way the color came out which was a caramel color…NOW MY NEXT TASK IS TO TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR TO ENSURE THAT

PRODUCT REVIEW-Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie

One of my beloved best friends who is also natural gave me this product to try.  What immediately turned me on about this product was the smell!~!!!!! It SMELLS SOOOO GOOD!!!! It has a tropical scent…not too over-powering. I’m big on smells and some products can easily give me a headache.  The second thing that I loved was the fact that there was :
NO PARABENS
NO PHTHALATES
NO PARAFFIN
NO GLUTEN
PROPYLENE GLYCOL
NO MINERAL OIL
NO SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCE

This product should be used sparingly!! After washing and conditioning my hair I apply the product and two strand twist my hair. The next morning I took my twists out and loved the results…..MY HAIR WAS HYDRATED, CURLS DEFINED, SHINY….Overall I plan to keep this product in my regimen.

RESULTS………………..

Recently my hair has been doing it’s own thing. I hadn’t changes my regimen at all so I assumed it was the weather. Then as I was going threw some of my old products I found some throwback Mane N Tail. Decides to give it a try and my hair loves it! I shampooed my roots and conditioned and detangled with the Aussie Moist, deep conditioned with the Aussie 3 min Miracle. After washing I applied the Aussie Leave in, Coconut Oil and IC Fantasia (Olive Oil). Then I did two strand twists! Not only was my hair was so soft and shiny but it defined my curls… So much to the point where some of my twists would unravel leaving bouncy curls. I’m going to try this regimen for a couple of weeks to see if the results are the same! If so I will be permanently adding this to my regimen.
